Electing JUAA WMA Board for the term 2008-2009 - Monday, October 22, 2007Inviting nominations from regular members for FOUR vacant Board of Directors positions of the Association for 2008-2009
 The by-laws of the JUAA, which came into effect on May 1, 2002, require that each year, before the end of the fiscal year, the Board of Directors will invite nominations for the vacant positions in the Board from the regular members in good standing. The Election Committee now invites nominations from regular members for FOUR vacant Board of Directors positions of the Association for 2008-2009.

Phone Bank Event for Scholarship Fundraising - Monday, August 20, 2007We are glad to share this information with you that we at DC Area Jadavpur University Alumni Association (www.jugraduates.org ) are hosting a phone bank fundraising event this coming Sunday, 26th August, 2007 between 4 PM-6PM. JUAA WMA (Jadavpur University Alumni Association, Washington Metropolitan Area) volunteers would gather at Asokda's (Asok Motayed) house in Potomac, MD and start calling JUAA WMA members and other JU Alumni around USA seeking their support and contribution to JUAA WMA Scholarship Fund.
